The Lavish Life at the Ritz-Carlton in DohaThe Habanos Cigar Lounge at he Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha, Qatar is the ultimate place to smoke cigars in the Middle East. It has a cigar butler. What does a cigar butler do? He moves from table to table with a trolley full of cigar treasures and makes suggestions to the guests. He also will cut and light the cigar and, most interestingly, perform something called a cigar marinade. The marination ritual involves dipping the cut head of a cigar in a selected spirit like a liqueur or whisky, brushing the body of the cigar with the spirit and then warming the entire length of the cigar with a match to dry it and burn off the alcohol.
